Mixed crushed stone is mixed sizes, several grades, dense and strong. It suits fill and road sub-base.
Fine sand has very small grains for lower-strength work and fine plastering, 450–500 THB/cu.m. Coarse sand has large, sharp, strong grains for concrete, buildings and reinforced concrete — houses and high-rises, 450–550 THB/cu.m.
Fill sand / duck-grit sand is used to level before a slab, to fill land, or for flood bags. The most common use is filling large roads. 350–450 THB/cu.m.
It depends on the purpose. Topsoil is for planting (290 THB/cu.m.). General fill soil is a lower-cost fill (240 THB/cu.m.). Hard soil / lateritic clay is for fill then building immediately, roads or riverside land (250 THB/cu.m.).
Laterite is soil mixed with stone, coarse red-brown grains. It compacts well, is strong, drains well and is easy to source. Common for fill, leveling and roads. 435 THB/cu.m.
Ordinary fill: wait 6–12 months. Compacted fill: wait 1–3 months, or build immediately if piles are used.
